The Scope of Work for this project consists of removing existing and replacing with new over 2,000 linear feet of steam and condensate return piping located in existing concrete trenches and utility holes.  The replacement piping provided steam service from “building A” to ten other buildings to the existing power plant. Project construction activities included but were not limited to the following: Removal of existing asphalt pavement and concrete sidewalk and replacing with new, removal of existing sump pumps located in the existing maintenance holes and replacing with new and always providing for the safety of all army and civilian government personnel and maintenance of access to buildings within the construction areas.

Supporting construction activities include but are not limited to the following: Removal of existing asphalt pavement and concrete sidewalk and replacing with new, removal of existing sump pumps located in the existing manholes and replacing with new and providing for safety of all army and civilian government personnel and maintenance of access to buildings at all times within the construction areas.

Mid Atlantic Contracting furnished all plant labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to perform the required work, installed a campus underground steam and condensate piping system, and oversaw the replacement of landscaping as needed.
