Phase one of this project at Charles Town’s Hollywood Casino involved replacing a 25 foot high glass curtain, adding glazing and inputting new aluminum extrusions. The work also included interface with existing mechanical, electrical and architectural systems. A second phase of the Charles Town project focused on the race track. MAC provided complete architectural and structural design services for high definition (HD) camera observation towers located around the track. The work involved construction of two new 60 foot structural steel towers including an occupied space for camera men and architectural finishes and access doors.

MAC understands the planning and attention to detail whenever undergoing a renovation, and keeping the historic charm of the George Washington family estate was a key priority. The scope of work on the 17th century estate included complete design and renovation/restoration of all exterior and interior historical elements. MAC installed owner equipment and furnishings to the home, as well as installing new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. Existing heating systems and piping were renovated and partially removed. The overall project also included adding a new site road, a lodge, out buildings, a new barn, and space for cataloging historical documents that were restored and returned to the property.
